Brochure small tanks

RBI storage tanks are designed to provide large volume, continuous or intermittent supply of hot water at a constant outlet temperature. Storage tanks to be used in conjunction with our high efficiency water heaters range in size from small 80-gallon units through custom built 3,000-gallon models to handle any water heating application. RBI storage tanks incorporate the latest advances in interior tank lining and enhance performance. Quality materials and advanced engineering combine for a longer service life and better performance. Standard linings include glass or cement.

Get the Advantage

Currently, tank failure due to corrosion most often occurs near a tank opening. During oven firing, the glass lining can burn back from tank openings, exposing raw metal. Not surprisingly, this raw metal corrodes, eventually causing tank failure. An exclusive innovation impedes corrosion by bridging the burn back area so that the metal is no longer exposed. Independent studies indicate that this simple but ingenious idea significantly extends tank life.

The MTI Messenger is designed to remotely monitor all of your mechanical equipment with real time system status.

The MTI Messenger monitors up to six channels for an out of tolerance condition, that takes a sampling every second. These channels are typically used to measure temperature, or configured as dry contact relay inputs. When a fail condition is encountered, the device waits a specified time and then proceeds to dial a designated number. Once connected to the receiving computer system, a packet of information is uploaded and presented using the logging software. Provisions are also made for a pager.

Features of this device include the ability to dial a second number, set two levels of failure, dial at specified times, automatic check-in to ensure unit is still functional, and outdoor reset. A pager or a second computer may also be used as a backup/retry system using a second phone number. A set of relay contacts is also available and may be opened or closed during an alarm condition.

  • 8800 / 8900 Series Pool Heaters

  • Spectrum Series Pool Heater

SIZING FORMULA
BTU input required = Pool Area (Sq. Ft.) X Desired Temperature Rise X 15.
Formula is based on 1°F to 1¼°F, (-17°C) temperature rise per hour and 3½ MPH average wind. Where wind conditions exist, select heater one size larger than determined by formula.

FASTER HEATING
For 1½°F (-17°C) rise per hour: Increase BTUH input by 50%.
For 2°F (-17°C) rise per hour: Increase BTUH input by 100%.
Always select a heater equal to or larger than the requirement.
Over sizing generally reduces fuel cost.
