What can your commercial boilers be used for?

Commercial boilers have two main categories of boilers: hot water and steam. The hot water boilers can be used for comfort heating, domestic hot water (in showers and kitchens), or in a combination boiler that will do both things from one vessel. Commercial steam boilers are low pressure and used primarily for comfort heating but also for occasional industrial applications.

Commercial or industrial steam boilers can be ordered as either low or high pressure. Low-pressure steam boilers are typically for comfort heating or in a heat exchange process. Industrial steam boilers are more likely to be high pressure with specific code requirements attached to them.

How do you select a boiler?

Boiler selection is one of the most important parts of the process. For us, we run through a series of questions about your application before even suggesting a boiler brand and/or type. We have a line card that includes nearly every type of boiler made today so we don't have to be biased in order to make a sale. Our goal is to provide the boiler that will best suit your needs for both efficiency and longevity. Overall life cycle cost to the end-users is a priority, but equally important is the total consideration of the installed cost. We have very unique products that can reduce your installation cost by up to 50%. This is where our expertise can really impact your projects.

What if we aren't licensed boiler operators? Can we still operate your equipment?

With everything we sell, we offer a complete and detailed commissioning process that assures you that your boiler is set up properly to a maximum safe efficiency operation. From that point, we will train your personnel on basic operating and maintenance techniques that will make you comfortable with operating the equipment proficiently. Of course, diagnostics and/or repair should be left with technical professionals which is why we have a full staff of factory-trained, certified, and authorized field techs just one call away for boiler service in Cleveland, OH.

If you choose to take a more active role in maintaining your boilers, we also have a full on-site training center where you can be trained on more in-depth servicing. Our goal is first and foremost your safety. We truly believe the more independent you are, the better chance of our equipment succeeding and being a reference for future customers.

Do all boilers have similar maintenance costs?

No, they don't. The dirty little secret of many types of boilers is the unusually high maintenance costs, especially when all the parts are proprietary to the manufacturer. All of our controls and parts are off-the-shelf items, commonly used in the industry, from companies like Honeywell and ITT. This dramatically reduces and simplifies the ongoing maintenance costs because you can buy parts from us or from your local supply house.

Many boilers are built with easy access to common maintenance items and some are horrid when it comes to access. These are all important considerations. Finally, if you purchase from a company whose main source of revenue is service, why would they teach you to do your own maintenance? Why would they focus on speedy and easy maintenance when they earn an hourly rate to take care of it for you? We are the complete opposite and first and foremost, we are an equipment provider dependent on your purchase success. Our service is dedicated to the warranty and support of everything we sell.

What is an industrial boiler?

An industrial boiler is a machine that generates steam by way of a series of heat exchangers that apply constant pressure and heat to a fluid that is vaporized. As it is a pressure vessel, an industrial boiler is in large part constructed from laminated steel, similar to that used for gas containers.
